Nikah or Islamic marriage is a sacred contract of justness that provides sanctuary to your relationship and attracts barakah (blessing) from the Almighty. This contract is between a man and a woman and there is nothing outside of this which is considered or valid in Islam.
The marriage in Islam provides a safe haven for the relationship to exist whilst assuring that both parties maintain their roles and responsibilities in accordance to the Islamic code of conduct between husband and wife.
In many cases these days people who decide not to marry are simply neglecting their responsibility towards their wives and are going directly against the command of Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala سبحانه وتعالى.
This is the reason why partners leave each other after a short spell, which we call the honeymoon period and many relationships end in tatters.
We believe that if you want the marriage to last the foundations must be laid strong and firm to build a solid structure.
May Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala سبحانه وتعالى, allow us all to create love mercy and harmony between peoples marriages. Ameen.
